Saturday 23 May 2026, 10 am – 4 pm sees the Burial Ground’s Annual Open Day, an great opportunity to explore what is on offer at Sun Rising. You can meet staff and trustees, talk through ideas and requirements, and take a tour of the natural burial ground and/or nature reserve with one of their team or by yourselves.
There’ll be refreshments all day, in aid of The Friends of Sun Rising. They will have a nature table for those who would like to know more about the nature reserve and information about their gorgeous wildflowers too.  Their local willow coffin maker, Caz from Wild Heart Coffins, will be lending us a coffin, and they will have a beautifully elegant and simple card coffin too. There’ll also be English flowers from Tysoe village florist, Hope and Glory.
There’s no need to book for this event. All are welcome.
