  • New Parish Clerk

    New Parish Clerk

At the Parish Council meeting last Monday we said goodbye to Charmaine who had been our Clerk for over four years. Charmaine came to us with no experience of the job but a wealth of experience in running committees and village organisations. She soon learnt the ropes and over the years she has made a very valuable contribution to the smooth running of the Council.

She leaves with our thanks and best wishes to her and her husband John for their imminent house move.

In saying goodbye to Charmaine we also welcome on board Vanessa Cowell-Plain as our new Clerk. Vanessa’s first meeting was on Monday, fortunately she was not put off and is benefitting from the comprehensive hand-over that Charmaine provided. Vanessa, who lives in Oxhill, will be undertaking a training programme to get fully up to speed with Council affairs.

If you need to contact her she can be found at parish.clerk@tysoe-pc.gov.uk

A reminder – the Parish Council AGM will be held at 7.00pm on 11th May in the Village Hall.

This is a public meeting open to all.
