| Tysoe Wildlife in conjunction with Tysoe & District Record are planning a photographic competition to select 12 photos for a ‘Tysoe Wildlife’ calendar for 2027. The calendar will go on sale at the end of the year, and proceeds will be used to support wildlife in the parish. The theme of the competition is ‘Wild Warwickshire’. Photographs must have been taken in Warwickshire since 2024. Photographers with a range of experience from novice to expert are encouraged to enter. Up to three images may be submitted per person. All photographs must be submitted as a digital image (JPEG or PNG) in landscape orientation, with a 6 x 4 ratio, ideally at a resolution of at least 300 dpi or 1mb in size. Entrants must give their full name and email to the competition organisers. This data will be processed and stored in a secure manner and will only be kept for the duration of the 2026 competition. The decision of the judges for the ‘Wild Warwickshire Photographic Competition’ is final. PLEASE NOTE: All images submitted must be the work of the individual submitting them. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images they submit have been taken with the permission of the subject (where necessary) and do not infringe the copyright of any third party. Entrants must warrant that the photograph they are submitting is their own work and that they own the copyright for it. The photographer gives permission to Tysoe Wildlife and the Tysoe Record to print the photographs in the Calendar and for them to be cropped or adjusted where necessary to assist with the printing. The photographer also gives permission for Tysoe Wildlife to features the images on their web pages and Facebook page, while Tysoe Record may wish to reproduce them in the village newsletter. |
