Stratford-on-Avon District Council
Stratford-on-Avon district covers a large rural area, some 979km² (378 square miles) right in the middle of England. Over 146,000 people live in the district, the largest town being Stratford-upon-Avon with over 30,000 residents.
Bin collections
Since August 2022, residents of both Stratford-on-Avon District and Warwick District have been receiving a joint waste collection service called the 123+ service. Partnered with Biffa Waste Services Limited, it provides three-weekly household (non-recyclable), fortnightly dry recycling and garden waste, plus a weekly food waste collection service to all households across the district.
Warwickshire Fire & Rescue
Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service (WFRS) is a rural service covering the area of 764 square miles. They respond to many different emergency incidents including road traffic collisions, water rescue, hazardous materials and flooding as well as assisting their partner agencies to keep our communities safe.
Warwickshire Police
Warwickshire Police’s Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and police community support officers (PCSOs) based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.
They work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide the policing priorities for the area. This helps them to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining their wider focus on reducing crime across Warwickshire.

Stagecoach Bus Services
Tysoe is served by Stagecoach’s service running between Banbury and Stratford.
Shipston Link
Shipston Link is the local community bus operator for Shipston-on-Stour and surrounding villages, operating regular timetabled journeys Tuesday to Saturday. They take fares and accept Travel Passes on each of their regular stage Services.
Shipston Link has been serving the local communities for over a quarter of a century, following Shipston Town Council’s having called a Meeting of all local Parishes to discuss self-help schemes for rural transportation. To ensure that Shipston remained a focal point for the outlying areas (with its Medical Centre, Post Office, Council Office, Hospital and Shopping Centre), the residents of the local villages would need to get into Shipston on a regular basis.
Warwickshire Mobile Library
Warwickshire County Council provides a mobile library services, which makes 250 stops across the county over a four-week schedule.
