A welcoming clean community hub, built in 1929 and regularly updated to meet the needs of community events, clubs, talks, shows and entertainment for those living in or around the Warwickshire village of Tysoe.
The Hall was founded in 1929 by Canon C T Bernard McNulty, The Canon of Coventry and Vicar of Tysoe 1924 – 1934 and who is buried in St Mary’s Tysoe.
Tysoe Village Hall Trust is a charity, registered by the Charity Commission, number 523027
Having identified a need for a venue for public meetings and enjoyment, his inspiration and effort ensured that the existing building was designed and built within 2 years – all paid for through local private donations. The Hall was officially opened on 18th January 1930. Those interested in learning more about the history of the hall are guided to read the excellent research carried out by the Tysoe Heritage Research Group.
Tysoe Village Hall now comprises three separate spaces which can be hired individually, or together, to suit the needs of the hirer and provides a welcoming, accessible and affordable community village venue.
