Tysoe Women’s Institute

A vibrant group, focused on friendship and fun. Proud to be the oldest WI in Warwickshire .Our membership is now approaching 50.

Why not come along to one of our monthly meetings? Held on the 1st Wednesday of each month in Tysoe Village Hall.

We meet at 7:15 to enjoy a glass of wine (or something non alcoholic).

The group welcomes guests who are not currently WI members. Guests pay just £6.00 to attend and  this includes the opportunity to hear a great talk from an invited speaker, enjoy a glass of wine and tea/coffee and also a slice of famous WI cake.

Great value – and all in a very warm and engaging environment. A great opportunity to make friends.

The group also organises interesting trips to a variety of places, throughout the year….the last one being to the Winchester Christmas Markets – where a coach full of members enjoyed seeing the local sights and sampling some wonderful local produce.

We also vary our outings to include such excursions as theatre visits or a day out at a recycling centre.

We have several WISE (WI Social Event) meetings during the year for members only. Here we enjoy ourselves with such events as Prosecco and puds, Bingo, quizzes and Beetle Drives.

We also successfully raise money each year for a chosen local charity.

A report on each meeting can be found in the Tysoe Record.
